Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (IATA: XMN; ICAO: ZSAM), located at No. 121, Xiang Yun Yi Road, Huli District, Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, with a flight area rating of 4E, is an important regional aviation hub port on the southeast coast of China and the base airport of Xiamen Airlines Co.
Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport was opened to traffic in October 1983, and on 28 December 2014, the T4 terminal of the international airport was officially opened, starting a dual-floor operation with an annual passenger handling capacity of 27 million passengers, up from 15 million.
Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport has a 3,400-metre runway, two parallel taxiways and 10 liaison lanes; a total apron area of 770,000 square metres, with 89 parking spaces; a construction area of 129,800 square metres for Terminal T3 and 108,000 square metres for Terminal T4; and 182 domestic and international routes, including 145 domestic routes and 37 international and regional routes.
